Travels to the East - PART II - Penang

And so we move on to Penang.  We had no idea what to expect and we were very pleasantly surprised.  A wonderful seaside town, filled with surprises and delights.  Our hotel was situated right up on the beach front so we could relax by the sea everyday or catch a bus into George Town or Batu Ferenghi if we felt we needed a boost of energy or bustle.  Walking the streets of Georgetown was fantastic, the street art is incredible. Like nothing I've ever seen before, its so unique and beautiful.  A tour on foot through the town is a definite must.

There are many things we did in Penang that I didn't record/shoot, such as the Wipe Out floating obstacle course, which I would Highly recommend. The tram to the top of Penang Hill was wonderful, an incredible 360 degree view of the entire island. Also the night markets are amazing, incredible selections of food and goods, from Louis Vutton handbags to the best satay you'll ever taste! The watersports on offer at Batu Ferenghi as well as Tanjung Bungha are fantastic.  Simon and Ethan jet ski'd all over the shores and had the best time ever.
